O'Neill Lost...

Was there something in the air? Do deaths really come in threes? We lost three people at the O' this year -- Adrian, who used to keep an LJ here -- he's still on my Friends list -- Dean, who passed away a week ago (and didn't get mentioned here because Dean was a little intense about no eulogies -- and now Anthony, who hasn't worked at the O'Neill in years, but was there when I first ushered there. Anthony hit me hard because he and I are the same age -- 32. He had testicular cancer, which came back in his lungs. His kidneys failed and that was it. If you knew Anthony, it would shock you -- he is the picture of cancer surviving. Yeah, a bit pervy, but very vivacious. The last person you would think would die at 32. So not only did I leave the O'Neill, but a few O'Neillers left this earth.

Sad.

Oh wow. I remember Anthony. Pervy, yes, but anyone dying at 32 is incredibly sad. I remember the first time someone told me he had ever had cancer, I was shocked because he didn't seem sickly at all.
